If you're having trouble completing your order or your credit card isn’t going through, don’t worry—you're not alone. Most checkout issues stem from just a few common causes, and the good news is that they’re usually easy to fix.
🔍 Quick Troubleshooting Checklist
🚫 1. Minimum Order Not Met
We have a minimum order subtotal of $15.00.
If your cart is under that amount, checkout will be disabled and a pop-up will alert you.
Please add more items to meet the minimum.
📋 2. Customer Type Not Selected
Checkout requires you to select a customer type (e.g., Midwife, EMS, Hospital) from the dropdown menu.
This helps us tailor support for you. If skipped, you may not be able to proceed to payment.
💳 3. Credit Card Payment Issues
Your credit card may fail for one of the following reasons:
- The postal code for the billing address doesn't match what your bank has on file
- Your billing and shipping addresses are very different, which can trigger fraud prevention
- You're using a VPN, incognito browser, or privacy settings that block verification by our payment processor
We do not accept credit card details over the phone. For your security, all cards are processed via Shopify Merchant Services only.
Things to try:
- Double-check your billing address, especially the postal code
- Try switching devices, browsers (Chrome/Safari), or disabling VPN
- Try using the “Share Your Cart” feature at the top right of the cart page and complete the order on another device
- Try again later or refresh your browser
If the problem persists, you can choose another payment method like:
- Email Bank Transfer (to [email protected])
- Cheque (mailing details provided at checkout) *Order will ship after payment is received.
It’s very rare that one of these options won’t work!
🌐 4. "We Don’t Ship to This Location" Message
If you're in a supported region and still see this error:
- Refresh the page
- Re-enter your shipping info
- Try a different browser
- Double-check that you’ve entered your postal code correctly

- Make sure your browser is up to date
- Try clearing your browser cache
- Disable autofill tools or pop-up blockers, as they can hide errors
- Use “Share Your Cart” to send your cart to another computer or device for checkout
